This is an awesome product. I bought one for my iPod classic and as soon as I opened the box to my new iPod, I put on the invisible shield that same day. I never even turned it on before installing the shield, because I wanted ti protected from day one and my iPod still looks brand new after an entire year. There aren’t scratches on the back or the screen or anywhere! I use it conjunction with an iPod sock so if there are fingerprints, they wipe right away with the sock and the device looks perfect.
If you can have patience for 30-45 minutes to install, it is worth it. If you have pets or a dusty home, make sure you clean the place you’ll be installing this really well and then wait for the dust to settle before you begin. If you’re careful and don’t rush, it will look great. Wait a day before you use your device, and wait a week before you complain about bubbles – they will go away if you’ve installed correctly. The process is similar to tinting your own windows. If you love your electronics like I do, you’ll want to take care of them. Invisible Shield does a great job but can’t protect against drops (meaning your device will break from a fall before it would scratch). Zagg shields are pricey but they are the best, so always look for a deal when you can.

I bought this product not once but twice! The first time I tried installing it, I washed my hands and still, stuff got stuck to the sticky side of the invisible shield. I couldn’t put that on my ipod, it would drive me crazy. So, thinking it was my fault anyway, I bought another one. I installed it and I couldn’t get all the bubbles out with that stupid card they give you. It made my ipod look so cheap and tacky. I would not recommend buying this at all. I wished I would have read these reviews instead of listening to someone at best buy

It is most definitely worth buying for ANY electronic. It is super easy to put on yourself. Don’t even worry about installing it yourself.

This thing is really hard to install on an ipod touch. The edges just do not stick even after you hold them down with your fingers for a few minutes.
Do not do the saran wrap trick, since when you take it off, some of it will stick to the shield and is very hard to take off. I ended up scratching up the front piece of the shield trying to remove the saran wrap.
This film does scratch really easy as well. You’re better off wrapping your Touch with saran wrap.

1. Bubbles: Leaves many bubbles, which don’t seem to go away.
2. Touch-screen: Seriously compromises touch-screen sensitivity.
3. Installation: Overly complicated, and once installed, you realize it’s not worth it.
4. Ugly: Just. Plain. Ugly. Mostly because of the bubbles, but it also gets dirty easily.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OF THIS BRAND, IT IS UTTER CRAP!!
