I was so surprise to find out the price to replace the shuffle’s charger after it fell on the floor and got step on. I looked high and low before deciding on this one. It works like a dream. Its easier to keep on eye on and store. Your shuffle nests right in the groves, so you know its in correctly and you just plug it into the port on your company, presto. No more pushing wire away off your keyboard, and untangling.

I gave this item 5 stars even though it would not work on my system. I did so because it’s a hardware compatibility issue and not a problem with the device. I was very impressed by the apparent build quality. It even has a nice rubberized base like the dock that came with the Shuffle.
That said, the problem was a fit with my Dell Latitude D600. On this particular notebook the USB cutout in the computer’s casing was not sufficient to accommodate the size of the Travel Dock’s base. The USB would not seat completely, thus the device would not work.

I was excited about this product, mostly because I didn’t want to deal with wires and my laptop (last generation powerbook 12 inch). However, the dock is wide enough that you can’t use the other usb input.

It works well and the blue flashing light lets you know it is charging. i like because no wire, just plug into your laptop and charge your shuffle 1gb or 2gb.

i love the fact that there are no wires. its quick, easy, and stable. there’s a blue led light on it that will let you know when its plugged in. i love it and use it all the time. it also comes with covers for both the usb and also the jack that goes into the ipod.
