  1. Fine product. Works well when tied to your shoe. I am happy that I could continue running in my shoes and still use my Ipod for tracking the runs.

  2. This item does not work. The material must be too thick. Use it without this and the sensor will work by just sticking it in your laces. Making a lightweight pouch myself. This is a ripoff.

  3. Now you can use your Nike+ transmitter with all your shoes = not just the Nike+ ones.

Yes, this does work. The transmitter doesn’t need to be under your foot. Take the transmitter from your shoe and test it out: Squeeze the transmitter with your fingers routinely = little difference on your iPod Nike+ Nano. Now take the sensor in your hand and move it back and forth = Your Nike+ iPod Nano picks up the signal.

Do I have the Marware transmitter holder? No, I cut the finger off a $1 pair of ruberized cotton gloves and stuck my transmitter in that. Pinned the transmitter (in sock) to my shoe and tied it in with the laces. There was nothing nothing else available locally.

I hit my shoe on something during a run i guess and the sensor was gone by the time i got back. Crapy.

MY DAUGHTER & HER BOYFRIEND BOUGHT ME A NANO FOR CHRISTMAS & SUGGESTED THE NIKE & IPOD WORKOUT ASSISTANT. AT THIS POINT I REALLY AM NOT INTERESTED IT AN EXPENSIVE PAIR OF SNEAKERS TO TRACK MY CALORIE BURNING, ETC. I FOUND THIS DEVICE AND PURCHASED IT, IT WORKS GREAT FOR WALKING & RUNNING. I FOUND IT DOESNT DETECT MOTION ON THE ELIPTICAL. I STILL THINK IT IS CHEAPER THEN A 80-90 DOLLARS PR OF SNEAKERS.
