I bought the Griffin iclear for my 5th gen. ipod because you are supposed to be able to plug in your headphones or put it on an ipod player without taking off the clear shell. With my ipod I still have to take the iclear off, otherwise the music cuts in and out. I’ve tried it all different ways, but it’s staticy. So for me, it wasn’t an effective cover. It looks good though and you can move the dial with the cover on. I was disppointed and don’t use it. Can’t return it without all the original packaging. Save your packages until you’re certain.

The armband is useless. It kept slipping down my arm and it didn’t matter whether I put it over my skin or a shirt. Also, the case did not fit into the armband. It just clipped onto the armband. That said, I really like the case. It is a tight fit over the Nano but once on it provides great protection. I especially like the clip which I can clip on my belt, my pants pocket or mu shirt.

I mainly needed a belt clip for my ipod. Something I could use when working out at home or just walking around campus. Yet, I also wanted an arm strap for running. This works great. It’s easy to put the ipod in. You can still charge via cable and use headphones while it’s in the case.
I do have a very small arm and I was surprised to find the armband almost fit. If I tuck it under it works great. My fiance also tried it and he has a large arm and it fit. So anyone with a normal-large arm it would fit great.

Got this to protect my new IPOD. Unlike a number of other sleeves this one protects the screen without having to “stick” something on. The clip allows quick attachment and I’m glad it’s an integrated part of the sleeve as I use it all the time.
When the armband is used the sleeve sits just off the arm when clipped in place, so the IPOD is protected from sweat. Even when running it stays in place, is extremely comfortable and doesn’t bind. Highly recommend!!!

This product gives you TWO great features. It provides a clear shell for your iPod, and an Arm Band for when you need to use it during exercise. Worth every penny.
