This only works for 2nd generation shuffles. . I have a 4th generation Shuffle. How would I know that 2G stands for 2nd generation? I’m 43 years old! Now I need to pay to return this. HUGE waste of time and money.

It’s no boom box in the bass department but that’s not what it’s made for…… This is great for bicycling so you don’t need to wear headphones. A lot safer on the bike with a small speaker like this. Provides ample volume for a bike ride.

I grabed this before they stopped making them. Since the Shuffle has gone through anonther design change, I decided to take a chance. Some of the reviews as to the total sound quality are true very little base is to be expected. Considering the overall size of this thing it is amazing what it puts out. It can be pushed to the “Too Loud” level.

I use it mostly for travel when I am in a hotel room and want some background music while I work, and I don’t want to be isolated from the world like when I am wearing head phones. It is very protable and a good compliment to the shuffle. You can charge both with the supplied charger which is cool.

Exceptable sound quality, more volume than you need, durable quality.

I’m jamming to loud music coming out of this hand held speaker and the sound is projecting all over the room! I had to turn it down at one point; one song came out blasting and scared me! I love it! This is the new generation speaker for outdoor or random jam sessions – no more bulky tape deck speakers flung over the shoulder. Air jordans, acid wash, flat tops. Those were the days though.

I found this by accident. My friend was getting married and had no clue what songs she wanted at the ceremony. I did a lot of research, downloaded some suggestions on my Ipod shuffle. I bought this unit so she and her fiance could listen to the songs at the same time. I’m going to keep it so I can listen to my favorite tunes when I am in places not appropriate for wearing ear plugs. If you don’t have an I phone you will really like this speaker dock.
